Soie et silk embroidery floss is a 3-ply strand of #25 threads. Very useful for fine details. Has a beautiful sheen and soft texture. Thread is 100% silk and twisted in an "S" twist. Dyed by silk professionals in Kyoto. Recommended needle size in a #5 embroidery. Each spool contains 15 meters/16.4 yards.
